Recently i traveled to Chikangawa forest about 20km from Mzuzu City's sole University. I was entrusted with the task of coming out with Mzuzu university 2006 prospectus by the Registrar's Office. My aim of going to Chikangawa Forest wich is Africa's largest man planted forest was to take pictures of the "elephant rock". This rock was named because naturally as it stands it looks like like an elephant.

 

Pay me a visit at Mzuzu University and travel thru Lilongwe to Mzuzu roard (M1) and you gona meet the elephant rock. I will he happy to host you in my abode.

 

Unfortunately deforestation has not spared this one time dark and thick forest.
